New ideas

Here are some new, fresh ideas for the end of summer. Hope you enjoy them!

Fashion Charades

What you'll need: A pile of dress-ups or clothes, paper and pens, and a bunch of friends.

How to play: Get out the dress-ups. Pick out somebody to be the "model". Next, everyone, except the model, writes down a noun. Then, the model picks a paper secretly and then uses three items from the pile of clothes that they think the other friends would not guess who they are. Whoever guesses the noun first goes next, doing the same thing. This is a great game for sleepovers or parties.

Summer Bookmark

What you'll need: Scissors, colorful felt, a hole punch, ribbon, (optional) flower applique, (optional) Glue Dots.

How to make it: Use scissors to cut out a flip-flop shape out of felt. Use a hole punch to make three holes in the flip-flop--one at the top and two in the middle (one on each side). Starting at the top, string a ribbon through the holes and tie a knot. Add a flower applique with a Glue Dot (optional).

Splash--You're it!

What you'll need: A wet sponge, a sprinkler, and lots of friends.

How to play: Play a soggy game of tag with a sprinkler and a sponge. One player is It. He or she tries to tag another player with a wet sponge. Whoever gets tagged becomes the new It. If a player is standing underneath the sprinkler, he or she can't be tagged. The sprinkler acts as the "safe" area.

So that's all my creative ideas for today. See ya!
